The Invisible

A rush of joy and gratitude washed over us as we looked out at the beautiful Dahlonega audience faces this past weekend. And earlier this month, as we were able to reconnect with so many friends at 45 South Cafe and meet some wonderful people at the Frew Manor benefit. Thank you.

Dates in May:
The Hungry Ear, Saturday 5/4 at 8:00. A $5 cover is requested, and canned food donations benefit the Sandy Springs Community Assistance Center. We’re glad to be sharing the evening with Louis Robinson.

The Heron House, Friday 5/31 at 7:00. A beautiful wooded sanctuary in Mountain Park, GA – just west of Roswell.

More to come as summer approaches! We’ll continually update the schedule (to the right).

We’re creating music again. Although we never stopped, we’ve had to conserve energy – there’s yet more below the surface. Carol’s beloved father passed away in March. His legacy to her and to his entire family is immeasurable, his presence constantly felt. He joyfully filled the home with music of every style, including hundreds of classical recordings, jazz, The Graduate soundtrack, Joan Baez, Jean Redpath. A rich and beautiful singing voice could be coaxed out occasionally – Scottish songs that his parents stood him on the table to perform as a boy. He is remembered for his love.

I would love to live
Like a river flows
Carried by the surprise
Of its own unfolding.
